This week on The Toy Duo Team Livestream and Podcast we celebrated 25 years of Star Wars Podcasts. #StarWarsPodCastDay2024 is Feb 7, and commemorates the first Star Wars podcast.

John (Super Awesome Geek Show), Rick(Left Coast Graphics), Dan (Dandy1981), Deano (Geek Strong) and Vern (OakhurstStudios) talked about that and commemorated Star Wars with conversation and an internet search Challenge.

We talked about our favorite Star Wars Action figures, biggest Star Wars items and then capped it off searching the internet for the weirdest Star Wars related items we could find!

We also paid tribute to Carl Weathers and how his film career impacted us, and the action figures that were inspired by the actor’s roles!

We also did our regular stuff and highlighted a creator for some awesome action figure photography.  Action figure Junky on X (formerly twitter) was the creator spotlighted this week.

We discussed the Hasbro HasLab Omega Prime and the $249.99 price tag.  John said that he was having some issue regarding the value, as current equivalent sized figures wouldn’t cost $249.99 if bought in store and separately.  Regardless, the crowdfund is currently over 50% to it’s goal only after a few days.

The Team then went through the action figure reveals for the week which included a variety of Super Powers action figures from MCFarlane Toys, and the recent computer renders for the GIJOE classified line from HASBRO.
